Samsung Galaxy M21 comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The device has 91% screen to body ratio and brightness reaches up to 420 nits. Protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the screen can resist minor scratches. Since, the auto-brightness feature is powered by Samsung’s Virtual Light sensing technology, the front camera is sufficient for it without needing Ambient Sensor.
The triple rear camera setup is placed under the rectangular module which also consists of the LED flash. The fingerprint scanner is placed just beneath the camera module at the center.
Processor and Hardware
The Samsung Galaxy M21 is powered by the Exynos 9611 processor. Mali-G72 MP3 GPU handles all the graphics work on the device. The device comes in two storage variants. You can choose from 4GB+64GB variant and 6GB+128GB variant. The RAM in both the variant is of LPDDR4x. The storage is expandable with a dedicated microSD slot.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy M21 has a triple camera setup with a 48 MP primary camera. Another 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera can capture at 123° field of view (FOV). The other camera is a 5MP depth sensor for portrait images. The device consists of a 20MP selfie camera.
Battery
The battery is the main highlight of the device. Samsung Galaxy M21 comes with a massive 6000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. And, you get that 15W charger in-box. We don’t need to say how long the 6000mAh battery lasts. It definitely lasts for the entire day and Night of screen time.
Others
The Samsung Galaxy comes with Samsung’s own One UI 2.0 on top of Android 10 out of the box. To make the phone secure enough, there’s a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and you’ll have an option for face unlock too. Talking about other sensors, accelerometer, proximity sensor, geometric sensor, gyro sensor are placed on the device. However, the ambient light sensor is missing as the front camera can detect the intensity of light for Samsung’s Virtual Light sensing technology.
