POCO Nepal, today announced the launch of its much-anticipated smartphone – POCO F3 GT. POCO F3 GT delivers elevated gameplay, superior camera capabilities, and top-of-the-line features. POCO claims the device to be the company’s most promising, elegant, and commanding device to date, allowing users to switch their smartphone experience a level up. The company’s POCO F3 had got a good response in the market.
Integrated with a flagship MediaTek chipset, physical pop-up Maglev triggers, Turbo Amoled with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate, POCO F3 GT is expected to offer a premium experience.

Design and Display
POCO F3 GT features a 120Hz Turbo AMOLED display, the first and the most refined AMOLED screen from the house of POCO. This device comes with a 480Hz touch sampling rate and the company claims that this display has 6X faster-aiming accuracy and registers a smoother and lag-free user experience than its predecessor. The device also features a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and is HDR10+ certified.
POCO F3 GT comes with dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos. It also comes packed with a triple mic setup, with the third microphone being embedded into the middle of the left side of the phone.
The device comes with an anti-fingerprint matte finish. The frame is made up of metal while the body is of glass. The device features concave and flat beveling in a single frame, with RGB camera accent, lightning flash, and protection of double-sided Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Gaming
This device contains “Maglev Mechanical Triggers” which results in better gaming performance than its predecessors. This industry’s first magnetic key on the smartphone pops up when required and enhances the overall experience while playing some high-action games such as CoD, PUBG, among others. Tested for 1.5 million presses, Maglev triggers are fine-tuned with magnet dynamic construction to ensure zero accidental touches and a seamless and lag-free experience while gaming. One tap headshots offer is provided for better gaming. X shockers provided with these POCO F3 GT can decode up to 200 different vibration effects.
Battery
POCO F3 GT features a massive 5065 mAh battery which comes with a 67W fast charger. The 67W fast charger takes the F3 GT from 0 to 50% battery in just 15 minutes. The bundled L-shaped charging cable allows charging the phone even while gaming. For security, POCO F3 GT has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. To protect the phone from accidental splashes, it also has an IP53 rating.
Camera
POCO F3 GT offers a triple camera setup, consisting of a 64MP primary camera with f/1.65 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a FOV of 119-degree, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. The primary camera comes with the industry-first ED ultra-low dispersion optical glass lens. The ED ultra-low dispersion optical glass lens is basically a 1G+5P Glass-Plastic hybrid lens technology that results in better picture and video output compared to any other 64MP camera phone and sensors. At the back, it also features a unique pulsating ambient light that can light up in different colors and act as a notification indicator for multiple applications.
Performance
Built on the legacy of POCO F series 1, POCO F3 GT comes integrated with a flagship MediaTek chipset and features a 6nm Dimensity 1200 chipset. Featuring one of the fastest CPUs on a smartphone, it runs on one ultra-core with a Cortex-A78 core at 3.0 GHz, three super-cores with Arm Cortex-A78 at 2.6GHz, and four efficiency cores with Arm Cortex-A55 at 2GHz. The 3GHz ultra-core processor responds and has high power efficiency which is 22% and 25% faster, respectively, vis-a-vis the previous generation. The device has scored up to 724,495 on AnTuTu benchmarks.
With Dimensity 1200, users can lower power use in 5G network environments with the UltraSave power-saving enhancements. With the Dual 5G Standalone connectivity supporting 5G SA + NSA, users get a consistent and seamless experience and quality, on the back 100% network speed improvements. The device also offers dual-channel UFS 3.1 that is 3X faster than UFS 3.0 and 10x faster than SD Cards. It provides sequential read speeds of up to 2,100mb/s and random read and writes speeds of up to 100,000 and 70,000 IOPS.
POCO F3 GT is embedded with a steady operation and frictionless user experience with an 8-layered graphite sheet for faster heat dissipation to keep the device’s temperature 2°C less compared to phones without this system.
Price and Availability
POCO F3 GT is priced at NPR 56,999 for only available 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant in Nepal. The device will be available in two color variants: Gunmetal Silver and Predator Black across authorized Stores, online and retail stores starting August 31, 2021.
