Daraz, the largest eCommerce giant in Nepal backed by Alibaba has now started receiving payments through eSewa. Daraz has partnered with eSewa to receive payments from its customers. The company previously used to receive payments from cards and cash on delivery. To make the shopping experience more hassle-free, Daraz has added eSewa as a payment option.
eSewa is Nepal’s largest mobile wallet with more than a million users. Seeing its huge user base, Daraz might have thought adding eSewa facilitates people who don’t have cards. And we should say this is a wise decision by Daraz as many people don’t feel easy to pay through cards and cash on delivery is also a hassle.

Yes. eSewa facilitates fast refund processing for payments completed through the wallet (eSewa). So, you will be refunded the amount in case of the product return.
How to make payments using eSewa on Daraz?
eSewa is the most popular wallet in Nepal. Its integration in the Daraz has made payment easy for the customers. If you want to purchase products from Daraz using eSewa balance, follow the following steps.
Select eSewa Mobile Wallet as the payment method during Checkout
While choosing the payment option, you’ll see Debit/Credit Card, eSewa Mobile Wallet, and Cash on Delivery. Choose eSewa Mobile Wallet among them.
Login to your eSewa account
Login to your eSewa account using your eSewa ID and your Password. Don’t use MPIN for login.
Make Sure your eSewa account is active and has sufficient balance to pay for the product

Accept terms and conditions
You need to accept the terms and conditions of Daraz by clicking on the checkbox.
Enter OTP
After you agree to the terms and conditions, enter OTP (One Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number. This will give Daraz access to one-time transactions.
